Macmillan De'Longhi Art Auction 2012

For the past five years Macmillan and De’Longhi have joined forces to host the hugely successful Macmillan De’Longhi Art Auction, raising just under £700,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support to date.

This years auction will be held, for the first time, at the prestigious Royal College of Art, where pieces of art from a wide selection of contemporary artists have been generously donated to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Artists this year include Rankin, Antony Gormley, Maggi Hambling, Gavin Turk, Pandemonia, Ringo Starr and Sam Taylor-Wood.

The money raised on the evening will help support people affected by cancer through funding services such as information and support centres, phone services, cancer care centres, as well as nurses and other specialist health care professionals.

Each year the auction is hosted by a high profile personality who has a vested interest in the arts. Previous hosts for the event have included Jerry Hall, Edith Bowman and Fearne Cotton.
