Pandemonia is a conceptual multimedia artist. Since 2008, Pandemonia’s archetypal images of the modern condition have reached out to people across the globe through the glossy pages of fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Vanity Fair, as well as through TV coverage.
Working beyond the confines of the gallery, Pandemonia interacts directly with the public and media by appearing at various society events. The effect on the viewer is contagious—audiences are interpolated into photographers, and Pandemonia’s images are then flooded onto the social networks, blogs, and picture desks around the world. Art and reality become entwined in media feedback loops.
Opening a window into 21st-century society, the work explores the identity and mechanisms of social media and pop culture.
