London Fashion Week Day 3 AW 2013

Pandemonia roused Snowy from his slumbers and chose to don a new mint-green costume for the day. Once dressed, they made haste to Fashion Scout for Kiev fashion designers show. The Ukrainian designers were Anna October, Paskal, Yasya Minochkina, and Anna Kolomoets.

These designers gave P&S insight into their vision of what a European woman should be wearing this winter: from sixties-inspired monochrome tale to mid-calf-length dresses and tailored coats— all jazzed up with aid of some silver thread—to panels of iridescent leather.

After the show, Pandemonia and Snowy hopped a cab to Mayfair Hotel to meet Hannah White, publisher of the Fashion Monitor. Hannah and her team had organised a FM pampering suite and showroom.



After being pampered, Pandemonia and Snowy ambled into the adjoining suite. There, they met Italian fashion designer Danilo Gabrielli. Danilo had cut his teeth in USA, working at Tommy Hillfiger, Anne Klein, and Club Monaco. Dan divulged, "The reason I wanted to show here was that I didn't want to be lost in a sea of exhibitors."




Time was marching on, and P&S decided they need to nip home. Upon entering the hotel lift, they found themselves in the company of two gals from First Models. These delicious females with autocratic features snapped into professional action and struck a pose with Pandemonia and Snowy.

Later that night, Pandemonia and Snowy arrived at Karen K and Pritch LONDON fashion show at Baku. K&PL show gave the straight guys a hot flush, with fit females striding out in sexy high heels, fine leather jackets, and leather leggings by My Love My Leggings— a sight that left the women lusting after Karen's shoes and Arina's butter-soft leather multi-interchangeable jackets.



This look also brought a smile to Paul McNicoll, one of the deans from London College of Fashion. Paul told Pandemonia & Snowy, "It was a good show," before he vanished to the bar to cool down his ardour.



Snowy proceeded to wriggle—a sign that indicated to Pandemonia that it was time to leave for the Kristian Aadnevik show. On the pavement outside Baku, P and Snowy got a big thank-you hug and a kiss from Arina, designer of Pritch LONDON, for coming. Then, they clambered into cab to Royal Horse Guards Hotel, One Whitehall Place.



In this magnificent setting, Pandemonia & Snowy chatted with Chimere Cisse, a PR from Hearst Publications Group, about the mad schedule of shows over the past four days. Once seated, Kristian kicked off his show with house lights up and kept them up throughout the show, thus enabling his guests to see his intricate designs and masterly use of fine fabrics.

Backstage, post show, Pandemonia and Snowy complemented Mr K Aadnevik on his superb show.



Then, Pandemonia & Snowy took a closer gander at Kristian's handiwork on his luscious runway models.



Stepping aside to let others admire the models, Pandemonia and Snowy got to chatting with actress Kari Kleiv.



Purring with self-satisfaction over her vintage mint-green dress, Kari said to P, "Mine matches yours. I'm in love with all things synthetic, especially polyester."

As the KA well-wishers crowded in, Pandemonia retrieved Snowy from Kari. Then, P&S said their goodbyes and made tracks for home to catch their favourite late-night radio show.

Launch Cellar 164

Pandemonia and Snowy took a glide down red carpet yet again- This time, for the launch party of Baku Cellar Bar, London's Premier Azerbaijan Restaurant, 164 Sloane Street.

Mid-descent, Pandemonia and Snowy were greeted by the bar’s handsome waiters who were topping up Patsey, from Abfab’s, Boligner champagne! A personal fave, we’re told.

With not even a sip of bubbly down P’s lips- and none yet for Snowy either- they were approached by the face of Max factor and Marks and Spencer's Autograph range, turned blogger, Natasha Gilbert. She promptly marched the pair to the ladies bathroom to conduct a must-do impromptu interview, that came to a hault mid way when they realized a girl had managed to lock her self in, ever the reporter Natasha was able to capture this on video and even save the damsel in distress!

Returning to the party, where at the bar was Fashion designer Kristian Aadnevik, Pandemonia recalled the earlier conversation Kristian was spotted to be having with fellow fashion designers Julian MacDonald and Melissa Odabas, all about 2013, and who was or wasn't going to do cruise lines.

After catching the eye of yet another striking barman, Pandemonia and Snowy caught a glimpse of Leyla Aliyeva, the evening’s host and art lover, making an entrance and rocking up in, what Snowy recognised, a Jean Claude Jitrois burgundy, leather dress. P&S took this as their oppertune moment to thank the host, who is also the editor in Chief of Baku Magazine, for the superb front cover shot and were in turn congratulated for their previous issue.

The evening was going swimmingly... that was up until; Pandemonia and Snowy tried to engage Adam Waymouth, of Adam Waymouth Art, in a spec of conversation! However a little less conversation, a little more action seemed to be on Adam’s black, furry dog Jago’s mind when he took a leap at Snowy with his mouth wide open, a vision that had Snowy speculating poor Jago hadn't had his dinner before coming out.

Shifting on to a safe distance, Pandemonia and Snowy met former UK Vogue features editor, Harriette Quick. Harriette, told Pandemonia and Snowy, 'I'm now the Editorial Director of Luxup'. For those few, less in the know- Luxup is an online, invitation-only club for luxury travellers that like shopping. So, if you can't afford to fly to the Bahamas, you can buy your summer ensemble from them, smother yourself in fake tan and pretend you’re rich.

From one person that's selling the dream, to the man that's living it, Farhoud Moaddel. Farhoud, was sporting a real tan,that accompanied his store-bought designer clobber He was extremely curious to find out just what and who Pandemonia is. After chatting with P&S he found himself more the wiser but made sure to take note of last issues Baku Magazine to get up to speed on the art scene.

Art expert, Frederique Beccari and her pal Isabelle Moreau wife of Phillipe, the General Manager of Baku bar restaurant, were next on Pandemonia’s list of gobsmacked celebrities! Beccari has spent the last 18 years working and selling fine art in New York City.

Pandemonia and Snowy gathered up their belongs to leave, but before they were able to do so they were invited for yet another pap-pertunity when another Leyla in a turquoise dress, bustled over pleading to be quickly photographed with P&S! Of course, they obliged. Then thanked the host Ms Aliyeva once again and then raced out the door into the night.

Day Three, London Fashion Week SS 2013

Pandemonia and Snowy found themselves in Westbury Hotel for the Luna Sky show. Taking in the show too was Golan Hofit from FashionTV, who gasped, "I've been rushed off my feet this season with so many places and shows to cover."

Post show, P&S met the designer Luna Sky and complemented her on the fabulous colours she'd chosen, before jumping in a cab for the Kristian Aadnevik show at Athenaeum Club, Pall Mall.

At the Athenaeum, Kristian showed that the ideal way to treat buyers, journalists and clients is to give them a large, opulent space indoors and lashings of champagne that flowed like water, thus alleviating the tension of waiting.
On the foot of the stairs, Pandemonia and Snowy met adorable Carol Arida.
Carol is one of the most discreet designer shoppers in London, but tonight she was absolutely captivated by Snowy.

Kristian's show, as always, stuck to what he does best: short, sexy body-con dresses that have just enough leather straps or fastening to give a playful note, to the silk chiffon in stark white, moss green and soft silver grey.

After the show, Pandemonia and Snowy encountered a lumbering Australian hunk, David, who wouldn't release his grip on P and let them go backstage … without a kiss.

Pandemonia obliged with a peck on the cheek and was released, only to be delayed further by P&S' chum Karen K. Karen asked, "Darling, did you see my shoes? I provided them for the show." "And what an exemplary match they were to KA's show!" replied Pandemonia.

Finally getting backstage, Pandemonia and Snowy thanked Kristian for a great show.
