Zoe Griffin Summer Party

Pandemonia and Snowy, were perplexed, pawing through their wardrobes, O what to wear! What colour to wear to the summer party of the glamorous Zoe Griffin, editor of  www.livelikeavip.com They settled on canary yellow getup's and took to their wings. Outside The Arch London, a 5 star boutique hotel, 50 Great Cumberland Place.

Stepping out of the cab, Snowy got ever so excited, having spotted model/socialite Sophie Anderton. All three, hooked up and inched their way through an army of paparazzi.

At the Hotel's entrance, Grant Powell, the General Manager took command and escorted the trio to their hostess Zoe, then on to the o so elegant library for the soiree.

After all the air kissing and oooooh's and aaaaaaah's & I love your dress too …..Sophie released her grip on Snowy and turned her attention to the hostess.

This allowed Pandemonia and Snowy to ease back and clock La Zoe. She was dressed head to toe in VIP clobber: Linda B vintage1930s earrings; Nina Naustdal, Haute Couture dress; A pair of Gianmarco Lorenzi killer-heels & silver Chanel clutch. The bag, Snowy overheard Zoe whisper to Sophie. Is from hire handbag website, The Borrowers Club, So now, you know!

At the bar, Pandemonia sipped the very tasty Ketel One Vodka cocktail, consisting of Elderflower presse , vodka and fresh lemons and created by head barman Rupert Lovibond, while chatting to Gloria Jones-Knapp.

Gloria was wearing her professional hat. She Encouraged Pandemonia and Snowy, to take a Caribbean vacation. She said she knew the perfect place for them to relax. Of course it was at her boutique hotel, Bacolet Beach Club in Tobago. Snowy was all for it.

Sunshine in their hearts, P&S caught up with fellow artist Eleni Gagoushi. Eleni divulged………, "darling I'm planning two exhibitions later in the year. The shows are going to be a sweetie bag of my work, on different sized canvases. Devised to fit in every space, from Corporate building entrance, to box room". That way I can make a respectable living, out of my art.

For one creative person, to a gaggle. Alice Tapfield, Linda B, Karen Johnson, Criss Polizzi, Simone Muzi and Michelle Horan-Cashmore. All were tucking into the delicious canapes. The handy work of the Arch chef, QuInton Bennett. The sight caused poor Snowy's tummy to rumble.

Pandemonia and Snowy had to move on. They sandwiched Stooshe, a girl band. These 3 comely young ladies, are supporting Nicki Minaj’s upcoming gigs. As a sample of things to come, they treated P&S, to an arcapella of their new song Black Heart. Song done, P&S gave them the thumbs up on their singing and colourful wardrobe.

From three cool females, to one other. UK based Norway, Fashion and Jewellery designer Nina Naustal. Nina slipped her arm under Pandemonia for a quiet Tete a Tete, causing Snowy palpitations, Nina’s diamond cuff. Thinking the sparkler, would look equally quite as good as his evening collar.

Poor Snowy had to dream on, Nina was elbowed out by Pierre Doumit. Pierre is the Creative Director from Leticia Haute Coiffure and professed to Pandemonia "I'm fascinated by your locks". Sadly, before P could give Pierre, a few hair treatment tips they were disrupted by the Jaeger contingent. Iona Holmes and Lilian Buke. This couple of high flyers, descended on Pandemonia and Snowy.Raising the fun factor bar to an extremity. After causing havoc, they raced off, to get a free manicure by Pierre's team.

As Pandemonia and Snowy turned to get another beverage they encountered Jamal Edwards, founder & CEO of SBTV. Jamal produced his best shot, Here's Looking at You-pose. Then high tailed it, to join his mate Nick, with the hostess.

Next, Pandemonia and Snowy were eyeing up the Millies Cookies. Their trail of thought was sent off track by Karolina Kivimaki, from www.heelsandlipstick.blogspot.co.uk. She declared, " I'm a bit of foodie person myself and, if want a good meal. I whiz off to Michael Nadra the chef's, new restaurant, in Primrose Hill". Pandimonia and Snowy, felt this was not the time to spill the beans on their Primrose Hill escapades. Instead, they weaved their way out, thanked Zoe on the way and jumped a cab home.

In the cab, Snowy accidentally tipped over the goodie bag. Pandemonia, retrieved the Adee Phelan Hair colour remover and DGJ Hangover Hair repair. A bottle of Vita Liberata 2 week self tan lotion. Some Malin Goetz body creams and a voucher from The Arch Hotel, giving a free bottle of wine with meal for 4.

All of which it occurred to Pandemonia , may come in handy Should Snowy and me fancy a change of image or go out dinning with pals.

NSPCC Pop Art Ball

Snowy sat patiently, while Pandemonia, reefed through the wardrobe, to find the coolest, loose fitting dress to wear, for tonight's event. The NSPCC 's Rebuilding Childhoods Appeal, "Pop Art Ball" at Banqueting House, Whitehall. Hosted by fashion designer Stella McCartney, Russian Super model Natalia Vodianova and British Art dealer extraordinaire Harry Blain and sponsored by UBS.
As soon as Pandemonia and Snowy stepped over the threshold, they knew it was going to be grand affair, their first friendly encounter, was with the adorable K J Willett. KJ, confessed, " as a mum, I didn't have time, to buy a new outfit, so I had to do a spot of DIY, with my YSL dress. I yanked up and tucked under my black leather bustier. The result won P&S approval. Snowy spied KJ clutch bag and was told by KJ, "this is sample from my label "Molund " and is a new foray back into fashion, made out of the finest printed fake crocodile".
Pandemonia &Snowy, inched their way to bar and rubbed shoulders with, Australia's upbeat husband and wife duo, John Storey and Kate Nobelius. There, John divulged " I thought I might be a bit OTT, if I'd worn the trousers, to match this sequinned jacket". Snowny shook his head and P said "more is better".
Quitting the bar and while on route to photo booth, Pandemonia, was thrown off guard. At the vision of Georgia Byng, the friend of Jeremy Morris, owners of David Morris, the fine jewellers store on Bond Street, silver dog purse and Snowy. The pair went snout to snout and all the guest eyes fell upon both pooches, only to discover, these canines were being playful, and there was no real dog fight.
From one exiting moment to another, this time Pandemonia and Snowy, found themselves in the delightful company of gorgeous blond bomb shell and co-host Natalia Vodianova. Natalia took an immediate shine to S, and gave him a gentle motherly squeeze, one that he can dine out on for months to come.
From one incredible female, to equal powerhouse lass, Stella McCartney. Stella came striding towards P+S, and after running her creative eye, from top to toe. Gave them a quick how do you do, a peck on the cheek and Stella was off, like prize filly released in a meadow, to greet the rest of her guests. Pandemonia and Snowy, continued weaving their way passed fashion designer Roland Mouret, shoe designer Christian Louboutin and Carmen Busquets the owner of P&S favourite luxury lifestyle London store, Couture Lab, to their table 3.
Only to be halted by the charming Livia Firth, wife of Colin and UK champion lady for all things ethical with, eco-age.com. During their posing and getting snapped by cameras, a memory was sparked off in P mind, that of, Livia wowing the crowds, wearing Calleija pink diamonds, at the oscars, with her hubby. And to this day, P still can't decide, if it was Livia on red carpet, that P envied the most, or her wearing the staggeringly rare expensive diamonds. This idea evaporated, when P was seated at their table, and was replaced by awe of their fellow dining companions. These were, the dashingly handsome Henry Holland, fashion designer and super model/actress Agyness Deyn, and Mary Katrantzou, the winner of Best Emerging Womenswear Fashion Designer at British Fashion Awards.
Throughout the evening Agyness & Henry kept popping up and down, introducing Art auction and Oliver Barker the auctioneer from Sotheby's & the silent auction, between nibbles of delicious 4 course meal, from Caviar, Pea soup, Roast Halibut, to Passion fruit. That was washed down, with Zuani Viqne Bianco, Barda Pinot or vodka by most of the guests. Unlike our Agyness, she's a pure water girl.
When our meal came an end, A&H were up again telling us, we were going to be entertained by performances, 2 songs from the amazing teenage singer/songwriter Birdy, and this was beautifully executed. Then they introduced a rip roaring set by The Ting Tings.
One that had the crowd on it's feet, Ms Katrantzou cut up the dance floor with Pandemonia almost immediately
Followed by actress Margo Stilley in super silver leather dress and Harry Blain in Timothy Everest jacket.
Taking a breather Pandemonia and topping up Snowy's tea cup, with some fresh water, P found Jake Chapman conceptual artist, had strolled up for a chat, about art and the world he lives in. After very deep and meaningful banter with Jake, it was time to have a chinwag, with the evenings PR, Emma Beckett.
Emma forever a delightful conversationist, had her professional hat on and informed P&S what was in the goodie bags, a bracelet from Nadja Swaroski and a plug in phone piece from Native Union, then her voice got lost in the music. Pandmonia proceed, back to dance area, to shake a leg, along with supermodel Jade Parfitt. By 12.30, Pademonia collected Snowy, knowing it was way passed his bedtime.
Only to be stopped from leaving by Ashley Hayes and his exuberant pals, who ganged up on Pandemonia and Snowy, to say how fabulous looking P&S were.
Everyone was in high spirits, Sarah George and her party posse table, were the next group to block Pandemonia and Snowy's exit, only this time, just enough to wish P&S a found farewell. Walking to door, Mr J Chapman re-appeared at Pandemonia and Snowy side and introduce them, to the mother of his children Rosemary Furguson. Then again downstairs at the exit, Jake was there, playing cheeky devilish pranks, offering his goodie bag to a unsuspecting guest, who took it all in good faith. In the cab, on the way home Pademonia and Snowy, were in agreement, it was good to be involved in raising over £1.1 million for NSPCC, and to know that they played a small contributing factor to it's success.

Dance Umbrella 2011 Launch Party

Snowy had trouble containing himself, when he saw Pandemonia putting on her dancing shoes, knowing that P was taking him to the charming Andrew Hochhauser and Barbara Freites launch party, of Dance Umbrella 2011, at Jerwood Space, SE1 OLN

Ms Freites

Stepping into the party, Pandemonia and Snowy were greeted by the adorable Ms Freites, who thrust into P's hand, a delicious glass of Fattoria la Vialla organic sparkling white wine. P smile and mused, a good start to the soiree.

P glided passed, 26 year old Mbulelo Ndabeni, the South African dancer and ex DU, who's now with Rambert Dance company. Mdulelo was telling his pal, his favourite dance piece is the "Rainforest" because it is, it so pure.

In the set up bar door way, P encountered ex Wimbledon and Chelsea Collage of Art and then Slade School of Art star, Artist Nick Hornby. Nick confessed, he'd spotted P on Tuesday night at the Macmillan De'Longhi Art Auction and thought P looked amazing then. Then the conversation, got into an artistic cat and mouse game, one that left poor Snowy out on a limb.

Andrew Hochhauser

Mr Hornby and P chat ended, to listen, to Pandemonia, new best friend and Chairman of DU, Andrew, who gave his speech on the countless people who pledged their support and attended the lucrative fundraising events, and his gratitude to them, as a consequence, the Dance Umbrella will continue to survive in this present climate.

Betsy Gregory

Speech's over, Mr Hochhauser came over and introduced P, to Betsy Gregory, Artist Director of Dance Umbrella. Betsey, P learnt, has, for the past 33 years, brought some of the most talented dances to London. Some of whom, were randomly performing amongst the lucky guests, during the cocktail.

Eva Nijhof

While getting a refill at the bar, P and Eva Nijhof Head of Patrons of Covent Garden Development of Royal Opera House, got into heart to heart. Over a drink, Eva gave P a tip, on how a gal can rejig her wardrobe, tonight's example was Eve's hot yellow dress. E's swift method of giving this frock an update, was simple, she just lobbed off few inches and hey presto, a killer get up. This canny idea, sent P mind in whorl.

Only to come back to earth, when over hearing dancers Guila Montalbano and Richard Fredbory excitement, over getting to dance at Rosemary Lee, in public space, in Square Dances, Sat/Sun 8/9 October. Their enthusiasm was in the air and the place was awash with "young sparks" the in house vernacular, for fresh talented dancers.

bloomdancecoleective

Two dynamic young sparks Mareno Solainas and Igor Urzelai, from Bloom Dance Coleectives cornered P, and then proceed to tell P in stereophonic, that their friend Kate Forbes, Costume Designer-stylist, was a huge fan of P incredible wardrobe and Kate check's his website regularly.

P concealed her blushes, and switched their conversation back to them, to discovered that they'll be performing 'Alison Take Cover" A cover version of Richard Alstons piece "Wildlife" at 7pm on 19-21 Oct at The Place Studios 1+ 2.

P concluded, wild it'll be, when these 2 unorthodox studs do their rendition, lets hope Snowy doesn't get scared and hide under the seat.

Skips naked Health

The night was drawing to a close, when lumbering hunk, Skip from Skips Naked Health rolled up. Skip flexed his muscles and grabbed Snowy & gave him a firm cuddle. P, retrieved Snowy from Skip's steel grip and whispered in Snow's ear that Skip was really a gentle spiritual guy. Sensing it was all to much for Snowy, Pandemonia, blew a kiss to everyone and whisked her darling pet into a cab for home, in time for their scrumptious late super.

What we saw and heard... Times Fashion

From outrageous clothes to cheeky geeks, our fashion team list some favourite moments from London Fashion Week.

Pandemonia
Shock watch

There were plenty of outlandish clothes on display at LFW but two fashionistas stood out from the crowd.

Pandemonia is a 7ft latex-clad conceptual artist who comes complete with an inflatable toy terrier called Snowy, a much better behaved canine than the front-row dog that was barking throughout the Mulberry show on Sunday.

Jimmy Goldstein, or “Croc Man” as we have been calling him (owing to his love of suits made from reptiles), is something of a mystery to the British fashion press despite appearing at Paris and Milan shows. We saw him and Bip Ling at the Unique show, where he gave her a T-shirt ... with a picture of himself on it! At least that’s what it looked like from where we were sitting. Weird.

The actual soundtrack to the show was much more upbeat, thumping 90s tunes were the perfect accompaniment to a collection which took them back to their roots. The first few looks were fairly pared back and grown up - sensible, pretty dresses with shiny gold buttons, big lapels and pocket details. The pretty pastel colours met with a tougher, Western look, courtesy of their collaboration with Lee Jeans. The duo also collaborated with Bebaroque for some truly stand out tights, leggings and bodysuits featuring the brand new PPQ crest which also adored most of the pieces sent down the catwalk. The fun, crazy prints also made an appearance as did heavy embroidery, for me some of the pieces were a little too young and trashy but on the whole I really liked the collection and the collaborations.
